Background

GHCL Ltd, a leading chemical manufacturer, has partnered with AuthBridge, a company that provides authentication and compliance solutions, to improve ESG compliance in its supplier network.

Announcing the partnership on Monday, GHCL said the collaboration will use technology-driven solutions to automate the collection and verification of ESG data. It will also introduce ESG scoring into supplier evaluations and ensure alignment with global sustainability standards, including India’s Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) framework mandated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

Through this initiative, AuthBridge will work closely with GHCL’s suppliers to promote stronger ESG practices. The company is helping security service providers comply with workplace harassment prevention and labour laws, while supporting manufacturing partners in tracking greenhouse gas emissions from both direct and indirect sources.

“Listed companies increasingly need scalable, tech-enabled solutions to manage supplier compliance,” said Ajay Trehan, Founder and CEO of AuthBridge. “Our collaboration with GHCL demonstrates how data and technology can simplify sustainability reporting and improve transparency across the supply chain.”

GHCL’s supplier network includes raw material vendors, packaging and logistics providers, machinery suppliers, and service contractors. The new system will help GHCL spot high-risk suppliers sooner, make better onboarding decisions, and keep its procurement process more reliable.

GHCL is partnering to support sustainability and responsible business, meeting global standards for ethical supply chains and clear ESG practices.
