Gujarat will host The smarter E India 2026 in Gandhinagar from February 25 to 27, bringing together global energy leaders, policymakers, and industry players to accelerate India’s clean energy transition.

Organisers expect over 19,000 professional visitors and more than 300 exhibitors at the three-day event. Companies will present technologies across solar power, battery storage, electric mobility, and infrastructure for integrated energy systems. The exhibition aims to combine technology display, policy discussions, and business decisions under one platform.

Bhupinder Singh, President – IMEA at Messe München and CEO of Messe Muenchen India, said the industry’s focus has shifted from intent to execution. He noted that discussions now centre on supply chains, domestic manufacturing, and global competitiveness. He described the event as an “Energy ka Mahakumbh,” reflecting its growing industry relevance.

The 2026 conference will examine how India can move beyond being a large clean energy market to becoming a global manufacturing and technology leader. Key speakers will include Vinay Kumar Pabba of Vibrant Energy, Dr. Puzant Baliozian from VDMA PV Equipment Group, Vinay Rustagi of Premier Energies, Dr. Rahul Walawalkar of NETRA, and Bhagyasree Nair of GIZ India. They will address issues such as grid integration, financing models, storage adoption, and policy support.

The trade fair will also feature an Innovator and Start-up Arena to spotlight emerging companies in storage technology, EV ecosystems, and advanced solar manufacturing. A new initiative, “Voices of India’s Energy Leaders – The smarter E India Podcast Series,” will run alongside the exhibition.

With strong industry participation and policy dialogue, the event aims to strengthen India’s position as a global clean energy hub.
